The Bee Conservation Centre

The retail side is the more developed part of the visit — honey and other bee-derived products, bee pollen, and beeswax candles are all sold on site, straight from the source rather than through a middleman. It’s a modest, practical stop rather than an elaborate visitor attraction, which makes it an easy add-on to a day exploring Phatthana Nikhom’s other sights rather than a destination on its own.

Watch out: don’t expect an interpretive museum or guided tours — this is a working facility geared toward training beekeepers, and the visitor experience reflects that. If you’re looking for a big-budget wildlife centre, this isn’t it.

Insider Tip: Buy raw honey directly here rather than in Lop Buri town — it’s fresher and usually cheaper straight from the source, and you can combine the stop with Pa Sak Jolasid Dam, a short drive away in the same district.

Pasakcholasit Aquarium is also in Phatthana Nikhom district if you want to round out a half-day trip. Visit Lop Buri for the rest of the province, from the King Narai-era ruins to the town’s famous monkey population.
