Nearby sit the Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak Monument, honouring the prince regarded as the father of the modern Thai navy, and a shrine to Brahma (Phrom), the deity after whom the cape is named, where visitors leave carved wooden elephants as offerings. Even so, the real draw is the dramatic clifftop scenery surrounding it. As evening approaches, the western sky transforms into a canvas of oranges, pinks, and purples, while the sound of waves crashing against the rocks below creates a natural soundtrack. Small vendors sell refreshments and souvenirs near the viewing areas, and you’ll often catch the scent of grilled corn and fresh coconut water mixing with the salty sea breeze.
