The temple is notably associated with Luang Pho Doem Buddhasaro or Phra Khru Niwat Thammakhan, a revered former abbot known for his sacred amulets and talismans. He was affectionately regarded as “The Deity of the City of Four Rivers.” Among his talismanic items, the Mitmor, a dagger with an ivory handle, is particularly famous and believed to possess the power to ward off evil spirits. Key attractions include; Luang Pho Doem Museum Situated within the temple complex near a white pagoda, is a two-story building. The upper floor is dedicated to four Buddha images, each facing a different direction, while the lower floor features a room that showcases the biography of Luang Pho Doem and a collection of antiques unearthed around Ban Nong Pho. These artefacts, including human skeletons, jewellery, and various appliances, suggest that the village has been inhabited since the Sukhothai period, adding a historical dimension to the temple. Open Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays) 09.00-17.00 hrs. Entrance Fee: Adults 40 baht, Children 20 baht
