Beachclub Pai

Beachclub Pai is a pool club in Wiang Tai, a few minutes outside central Pai — not a beach, since Pai sits inland in the Mae Hong Son mountains, but a 50-metre pool built with a sand-edged bank to mimic one. Entry runs around 100 THB per person, with a slide, inflatables, volleyball, and a pool bar serving burgers and cocktails alongside the swimming.

The pool is the draw: sand banks along the edges, a water slide, and floating inflatables aimed as much at groups and day-trippers as at serious swimmers. Around it sit 20,000 square metres of landscaped grounds with thatched-roof huts and open lawn space, giving the site room to run pool parties and music events without feeling packed.

Beyond the day-pass crowd, the property also functions as accommodation — bungalows with private terraces and glamping tents with proper mattresses, aimed at guests who want to base themselves poolside rather than just drop in for an afternoon. The kitchen runs a mixed menu of Thai dishes and Western pub food (burgers, sandwiches, nuggets), priced for the backpacker-heavy crowd Pai attracts.

Most visitors reach the club by rented motorbike from one of Pai’s town-centre rental shops rather than by taxi — parking on site is informal rather than a marked lot. It sits close enough to town that it works as a half-day add-on to a Pai Canyon or hot-spring day rather than requiring its own dedicated trip.

Insider Tip: afternoons get busy with tour groups and day-trippers on motorbikes from town; if you want the pool closer to empty, arrive at opening rather than mid-afternoon.

Watch out: as a private pool club rather than a natural attraction, opening hours and pricing can shift with the season — confirm current hours before making the trip out from central Pai, especially outside high season (Nov-Feb) when some Pai venues trim their hours.
